The 6th International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group Annual Meeting (ITMIG 2015) will take place from October 23 to October 25, 2015 at the Regal Hotel in Shanghai, China. This important Conference will highlight the latest scientific and clinical developments related to the management of thymic malignancies and will bring together established scientists and clinicians from all over the world who have interest in the field of thymic cancers research. You could take a little bit of extra time to enjoy the beauty of Shanghai and its surroundings.

About ITMIG

“The mission of ITMIG is to promote the advancement of clinical and basic science pertaining to thymic and other mediastinal malignancies and related conditions. ITMIG is an academic organization that provides structure, organization and scientific rigor to research in these diseases. The primary goals of ITMIG are to provide infrastructure for international collaboration, promote a scientifically-based approach, and facilitate dissemination of knowledge about thymic malignancies and other mediastinal diseases, in order to improve the outcomes of people diagnosed with such a condition. ITMIG is a registered not-for profit organization.”

To provide the state-of the-art of thymic cancer, we are honored to work with Prof. Wentao Fang and Prof. Robert Korst on a Focused Issue on Management of Thymoma dedicated to the conference. The special issue will be published in Journal of Thoracic Disease (JTD) in the four quarter of 2015.
