The American Thoracic Society International Conference 2016 (ATS 2016) will be held May 13 – 18 in San Francisco, California, United States of America.
The American Thoracic Society (ATS) improves global health by advancing research, patient care, and public health in pulmonary disease, critical illness, and sleep disorders. Founded in 1905 to combat tuberculosis, the ATS mission has expanded to include asthma, COPD, lung cancer, sepsis, acute respiratory distress, and sleep apnea, among other diseases.
ATS 2016 is where 16,000 clinicians, researchers, academics, and related health care professionals in the fields of respiratory, critical care, and sleep medicine will gather to meet, share, network, learn, and, ultimately, move the needle on lung health. The conference will feature more than 500 sessions and almost 7,000 abstracts and case reports. In addition to the general sessions, the conference features postgraduate courses; meet the professor, sunrise, faculty development, and medical education seminars and thematic seminar series; and workshops. The exhibit hall has more than 200 exhibitors.
The editorial team of the Journal of Thoracic Disease will be attending ATS 2016. Please visit us at the ATS Global Community (booth No. GC 13). We look forward to meeting you in San Francisco.
