The Eleventh International Cough Symposium which was cancelled in June 2020 because of COVID-19 will be held as an interactive virtual event that will take place on 21-22 January 2021. This event will gather clinicians and scientists for a review and discussion of the latest research advances and evolving ideas regarding the cough in clinical disease, pathophysiological mechanisms, and evolving treatments of cough.
It will include state-of–the-art lectures, round-table discussions and poster presentations by an International Faculty. This virtual event will allow for plenty of opportunities for interactions between the faculty and the audience because there will be plenty of time devoted to discussion.
There will be an opportunity for researchers and clinicians to present work in the form of posters that will be discussed in poster discussion sessions.
State-of-the-art lectures
There will be state-of-the-art presentations on the cutting edge of our understanding of cough together with the latest treatment approaches. Sessions will include clinical issues of cough, cough hypersensitivity and sensitisation, and current and future therapeutic approaches.
The John Widdicombe lecture
The John Widdicombe lecture will be delivered by a cough researcher who has made a significant impact in the field of cough.
Poster presentation and Discussion of Abstracts
There will be an opportunity for participants to present their recent work as posters and these will be discussed during the Symposium. Submit a poster.
