We are glad to announce that the Journal of Thoracic Disease (JTD) is endorsed by the Hong Kong Society of Endosonography (HKSE) from July 2023.
Journal of Thoracic Disease is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal, which was founded in Dec 2009. JTD is indexed by Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), PubMed/PubMed Central, and Scopus. JTD is the official publication of China State Key Laboratory of Respiratory Disease, Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health (GIRH), the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, and the Society of Translational Medicine (STM) and endorsed by the International COPD Coalition, the China Asthma Alliance, the Brazilian Society of Thoracic Surgery (SBCT), the Italian Society of Thoracic Surgery (SICT), the Italian VATS Group, the Global Alliance against Chronic Respiratory Diseases (GARD), and the Hong Kong Society of Endosonography.
The Hong Kong Society of Endosonography was formed in 2016 by a group of experienced endosonographers who are actively practicing endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) in Hong Kong. The core members of the Society include gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, and surgeons working in different subspecialties such as upper gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, cardiothoracic, and colorectal surgeries working in universities, major public and private hospitals. With this collaboration, we hope to further promote thoracic endosonography research and make greater contributions to the development of endosonography.
