The 56th American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting (ASTRO 2014) will take place at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA, USA from September 14th to 17th, 2014. The conference is the premier radiation oncology scientific event in the world and draws more than 11,000 attendees each year. This year’s meeting will highlight science that showcases how technology and biology advance the field and improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

The editorial team of Journal of Thoracic Disease (JTD) will join this splendid academic feast in radiation oncology. We take this as a precious chance to have further communication with our dear authors, editorial board members and readers, and to get JTD known more to the experts in radiation oncology.
