Dr. Wang is currently Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery dedicated to heart valve disease and coronary artery disease, especially to transcatheter aortic valve implantation and Minimally Invasive heart valve Surgery at the Provincial Hospital in Jinan, China and received his medical degree from Shandong University, He completed his Surgical Residence at the Shandong Provincial Hospital.

In 2011, Dr wang worked as a research fellow at Mayo Clinic Center where he became interested in the mechanism of valve calcification and transcatheter aortic valve implantation.

Dr wang’s research focuses on the diagnosis, surgical treatment of calcified aortic valve disease, with or without ascending aorta disease. Since 2012, he began to study the mechanism of the aortic valve calcification.

He has published over 30 papers and now is presiding over two provincial issues about the aortic valve calcification.
