
Hiroshi Doi, MD, PhD

Dr. Doi is an Assistant professor/ Lecturer at Department of Radiation Oncology, Kindai University Faculty of Medicine (Osaka-Sayama, Osaka, Japan) and a board certified Radiation Oncologist with more than 10 years’ experiences.
He graduated and received his MD degree from Kochi Medical School in 2005. He completed his junior residency at Kobe University Hospital at 2007. Dr. Doi took a specialty training of Radiation Oncology and Radiology at Hyogo College of Medicine, and was an Assistant Professor at Hyogo College of Medicine from 2011 to 2016.
Dr. Doi obtained a PhD in radiation biology at Hyogo College of Medicine in 2012. He has studied abroad at Stanford University School of Medicine (CA, USA) from 2012 to 2013. Then, he worked at Meiwa Cancer Clinic as a director at Department of Radiation Oncology from 2016.
Dr. Doi was recruited to join the faculty at Department of Radiation Oncology, Kindai University Faculty of Medicine as an Assistant professor/ Lecture in 2017.
His clinical interests are lung cancer, malignant mesothelioma, GI cancers, and precision radiation oncology. Dr. Doi is the author/co-author of over 50 publications with wide range of themes(SBRT, re-irradiation, trimodal treatments, and basic research on radiation induced-normal tissue damages).
