Dr. Stine Munkholm-Larsen graduated from University of Copenhagen, Denmark in 2012 and has a special research and clinical interest in Interventional Cardiology.
She was first introduced to clinical research at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney Australia, published her first article in 2009 and has since been an active participant in cardiovascular research in Sydney and Copenhagen. Dr. Stine Munkholm-Larsen has been a systematic review researcher for the “Collaborative Research (CORE) Group International”, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia since 2011 and has been a senior researcher in the CORE Group since 2014. The “Collaborative Research (CORE) Group” is a cohesive and highly networked research organization in cardiovascular, thoracic and oncologic surgery, which is strongly supported by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and its international collaborators. Dr. Munkholm-Larsen works as a senior editor for the peer reviewed journal Annals of Cardiothoracic Surgery. With her special interest in atrial fibrillation and percutaneous treatment options for high-risk surgical patients, she is an invited reviewer for the journal “Heart” and recently became a board member of the Journal of Thoracic Disease and Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Therapy.
