Randall K. Wolf, MD, FACC, FACS

Professor Wolf has pioneered several minimally invasive cardiothoracic procedures including DaVinci cardiac surgery, the Wolf minimize procedure, thorascopic first rib resection, minimally invasive thoracic spine surgery and VATS lobectomy. He holds several medical device patents. He was the first US heart surgeon to perform robotic assisted coronary bypass. Dr. Wolf has presented extensively nationally and internationally and he has performed procedures around the world including America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Dr. Wolf has authored over 100 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. He has served as President of the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS) and President of the 21st Surgery Cardiothoracic Club. He served as Professor of Surgery, Ohio State University and Professor of Surgery and Biomedical Engineering, University of Cincinnati. Currently Dr. Wolf serves as Professor, University of Texas-Houston, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Memorial Hermann Hospitals and Surgical Director of the AFIB clinic.

When not in the operating theatre or lecturing, he performs stage and close-up magic.
