Dr. Chikaishi graduated and received his medical degree from School of Medicine, University of Occupational and Environmental Health in 2004. In addition, he obtained a PhD. at School of Medicine, University of Occupational and Environmental Health, in 2017. He completed his Thoracic Surgery Residency at the Second Department of Surgery, School of Medicine, University of Occupational and Environmental Health. In 2011, he became assistant professor of Second Department of Surgery, School of Medicine, University of Occupational and Environmental Health. From 2019, he is the Chief Physician of Department of Thoracic Surgery, Shimonoseki City Hospital, Yamaguchi, Japan, and the other is part time doctor of the Second Department of Surgery, School of Medicine, University of Occupational and Environmental Health.
Dr. Chikaishi is a Board Certified Surgeon of Japan Surgical Society and Japanese Association for Chest Surgery and The Japan Society for Respiratory Endoscopy. His main research interests for lung cancer, circulating tumor cell, and so on.Editorial Board
