Abstract

Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) has an established independent relationship with cardiovascular disease, with a multitude of clinical cohort and longitudinal population studies showing a significantly increased risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in subjects with severe OSA (1-3).
