Prof. Yi Hu: a doctor of acute insight and action

Several months ago, Prof. Yi Hu and his team were working on a clinical research project, which aimed at finding the best strategy to postpone lung cancer’s resistance towards targeted therapy. A new medicine that could reverse drug resistance came out while they were still on the early phase of the research project. Prof. Hu said: “There is no need to design the rest of the trial tests, because we have a more targeted agent. We don’t need to combine chemotherapy against our targets anymore!”
