The 3^rd International Cough Conference (ICC) was held on November 7–9, 2019, attended by over 500 participants from China and other countries worldwide, and chaired by Prof. Nanshan Zhong, Prof. Kefang Lai, Prof. Kianfan Chung and Prof. Peter Dicpinigaitis (Figure 1).
