Retraction to: J Thorac Dis 2020;12:5062-6
In the article “Keratin 17 is an imaging biomarker in lung cancers”, J Thorac Dis 2020;12:5062-5066 (1), three authors who made significant contributions to this article were inadvertently not included in the author byline. Drs. Kenneth R. Shroyer, Luisa F. Escobar-Hoyos, and Lucia Roa-Peña should have been listed as authors and the sequence of authors should have been agreed to by all authors prior to publication. A research compliance committee at Stony Brook University has determined that this article unintentionally used the results of the above without appropriate credit to these authors. Furthermore, the committee determined that the IRB approved protocol for this study was not appropriate and thus there was no IRB approval for this paper.
All authors agree with the retraction of the article.
