Tiny lung adenocarcinomas: better prognosis with a word of caution
Abstract
The recent article published in the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery by Zhu et al. (1) deals with the characteristics, surgical management and prognosis of resected lung adenocarcinomas ≤1 cm in size (micro-sized lung adenocarcinomas) and compares them with those adenocarcinomas >1–≤2 cm (small-size lung adenocarcinomas).
