Coronary artery disease and myocardial revascularization in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement
Abstract
Aortic stenosis (AS) is frequently interwoven with coronary artery disease (CAD) due to shared risk factors. As a consequence, CAD is found in a substantial proportion of patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in contemporary studies, ranging between 45% and 75% according to various definitions.
