Dr Kheir is currently an assistant professor of medicine with expertise in interventional pulmonary at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. He completed his pulmonary, critical care training as well as master in the clinical research and medical education scholar program at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. He then completed interventional pulmonary fellowship at the Harvard program. Dr Kheir’s research focuses on developing and testing minimally invasive procedures in interventional pulmonary focusing on patient-relevant outcomes. He has been involved in multiple clinical guidelines, designed multiple medical trials, invited reviewer for multiple medical journals, and led as well as co-authored over 130 manuscripts.
